The City of Cullman says its Sanitation Department will begin curbside leaf vacuum service across Cullman on Monday, Nov. 2, 2026, and continue collection through Jan. 31, 2027.

According to the city’s announcement, residents should place loose leaves at the curb, not in the street or roadway, and keep piles clear of vehicles, mailboxes and other obstacles. The city says the service collects leaves only; limbs, branches, sticks, trash and other debris should not be included because they can damage equipment and delay collection.

The city says one truck will start in the northwest and work south toward the southwest, while a second will start in the northeast and work south toward the southeast. After completing a pass, the trucks will begin another, with the city aiming to make three passes by Jan. 31, as in previous years.
