Cullman’s leaf vacuum collection is scheduled to begin Nov. 2 and continue through Jan. 31, 2027, the City of Cullman said in an Oct. 9 announcement. The Sanitation Department plans multiple passes through the city during the service period.
The city said residents should leave loose leaves at the curb, not in the street or roadway, and keep piles clear of vehicles, mailboxes and other obstacles. The announcement says leaf piles should contain leaves only; limbs, branches, sticks, trash and other debris can damage equipment and delay collection.
According to the city, one truck will start in the city’s northwest corner and work south toward the southwest corner, while a second will start in the northeast and work south toward the southeast. After completing a full pass, the trucks will start again, with the goal of making three passes by Jan. 31, 2027, the announcement said.
